“They say that a man can sit at The Strangers Club of La Paz, 10 000 feet above sea level, and meet a man from every sea.”

This tells the story of the thought process behind our creative hub - a home of sharing stories, a collaboration of strange things and an appreciation for detail. The Strangers Club has been inspired by a club that existed in the early 1900’s in La Paz, Panama. It was a space where traders and explorers heading to and from Central and South America could gather, exchange stories and relive memories. Out of this World communicate and display through their artwork a history of appreciation and respect for African culture and its artifacts. The Strangers Club allows for gathering, sharing and meeting.

Owned by young entrepreneurs Adam Reilly and Emma Vith, The Strangers Club and Out of this World merge contemporary Cape Town with authentic Africa. The tranquil space is complemented by a menu just as easy on the eyes. With a focus on specialty coffee, The Stranger’s Club has worked closely with Rosetta Roastery to serve single origin coffees from different regions of Africa, South America and Indonesia. Accompanied by gourmet sandwhiches, a selection of freshly pressed juices, smoothies and treats; you are sure to have all of your foodie needs met!

The Stranger’s Club courtyard, lounge and gallery are available for private functions.
